IT IS EXPECTED THAT ALL USERS OF THE BOOMERANG PLATFORM RECOGNIZE THE SENSITIVE NATURE IN WORKING WITH CHILDREN.  

 

All Users shall comply with these Safety Standards, which Boomerang may modify and update from time-to-time at its discretion.

 

Communication: Drivers are required to maintain only age-appropriate communication while performing the Services.

 

Outside Contact Policy: To ensure the safety of all Users, and consistent with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, both Riders and Drivers must refrain from contacting each other outside the ride without the prior express consent from the Rider’s parent/guardian or the Ride Organizer.

 

No-Smoking Policy: No User of the platform may smoke during any ride, or otherwise in any Driver’s vehicle.  Drivers and Riders must also comply with tobacco-free requirements around schools and other locations. 

 

Recording Device Policy: Drivers must not take photos or videos of Riders, or otherwise record conversations with Riders, while providing Services or otherwise in connection with the Boomerang app.  Riders may not record or take photos or video of Drivers during a ride without first obtaining the Driver’s consent.  

 

Gifts: Drivers are prohibited from giving gifts to Riders. With the exception of optional tips/gratuities, Riders should also refrain from giving gifts to Drivers.

 

These safety policies are designed with the interest of both the Drivers and Riders in mind. Drivers or Riders who violate these policies, or other Zero Tolerance Policies may be deactivated.
