All Boomerang Drivers are required by law to accommodate service and support animals and make other reasonable accommodations for passengers with special needs.

Riders with service or support animals

When it comes to transporting Riders with service or support animals, Drivers should remember one thing: always say yes! The law prohibits Drivers from denying service to, or otherwise discriminate against, Riders with service animals.

A Driver may ask two questions to verify that a Rider's animal is a service animal:

  1. Is the animal required because of a disability?

  2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform?

Drivers with service or support animals

Boomerang supports Drivers’ use of service or support animals, and it is Boomerang's policy that Drivers be allowed to ride with their service or support animals. However, please note that your riding with a service or support animal may limit the number of passengers you can carry, and some passengers may be uncomfortable or allergic around your service or support animal. We advise that you make note of the service or support animal in your bio and call ride organizers in advance to notify them of the service or support animal. If any RIder is unable to ride with your service or support animal, you must cancel the ride so a substitute Driver may be scheduled.
